Seem to be well made and quite inexpensive. Don't know how well they will hold up in the weather but they are supposed to be made for that purpose. The edges of the clip are squared and relatively sharp. In other words, the cross-section is very close to a rectangle with very little radiusing on the edges. This could eat into the insulation of wires looped over them over time. Wires that are just run through them at right angles, which is how this product is intended to be used, should be okay. It's only if you connect a loop of wire through the hook and pull it in line with the hook itself where the sharp edges might try to bite into the insulation.
