Used on an outside Christmas tree.Great little lights! I love that they’re more yellow than white, love the different flashing settings (though the default is pretty aggressive) Gone are the days where one broken bulb renders the whole string useless!We bought 4 packs (8 strings total). They were easy to connect to one another and easy to work with. We hung them from a tree for our night wedding. They turned out beautiful and were a pretty warm toned light. They are only one color and there is not a remote for it. You just plug it in and you’re good to go. These lights were perfect for our wedding and what we were wanting to achieve.These lights work. And they would be great. But the “warm” color isn’t very warm. The lights I got are yellow orange yes, but with a greenish tint. It doesn’t have that warm glow like incandescence have. It might not bother you but the greenish / dirty hue is jarring for me. I’ll be getting different lights to find that real “warm” glow.I was looking for lights I could use to light up my porch garland and was tired of dealing with half the lights going dead when one bulb was bad. I was hesitant to purchase these, but I'm so glad I did. They give you enough "bare" line at the end of the cord to go from the plug to the lights without having a string of lights leading to the plug. I love that I have so many options for the patterns and how easy they were to handle.Note: lights were on blinking mode in pic so that's why they aren't all lit.These light strings were outside for a little over a year but already need to be replaced. On average about one in four of the bulbs has stopped working.I wasn't expecting this type of extender in the lights. I ended up having to use an extension cord halfway up my tree as these lights extenders are not compatible with the ones I already had, using a standard 2 prong plug. I will adjust my tree for next year using just these two strands so I don't have to do this in the future.
