These function well. They are polarized, so you might have to rotate the bulb 180 degrees to get it to work. If it doesn't work the first time, rotate it 180 and try again. Puts out good light, but as others have pointed out, most of the light is directed upwards through the lenses of the LED's. For my anchor light, I really don't care much, it's bright enough.
