Such a wonderful find! My 2 grandsons had so much fun going around the house inside and outside!This is a great helmet for my 2.5 year old. He loves anything firemen and we like that it lights up and has sirens so he can wear his helmet while putting out fires. He wears it almost EVERYWHERE.The sound and light stop working 2 minutes after we turning on, there is a problem with the switch. The hat by itself is realy pretty and sturdy. The batteries are hard to find.My Grandson loves fire trucks and sirens and has a favorite cartoon character who is a fire dog. He plays that he is the fire dog but he didn't have a fireman's hat. He was visiting before Easter and we were talking about his idol the Fire dog. I pulled up my Amazon account and looked for this fireman's hat. It has a light and siren on top and he went ballistic for it. I ordered it and we had it within 2 days! I'd rather give him something like this than a lot of candy. (so would his mother). He was so excited to get the hat and wears it everywhere except to sleep in but that's because of the shape, lol. I highly recommend this if you want to be a great Mom, Grandmother or just a good friend. By the way, the siren and light can be turned off and on so it doesn't have to be noisy all the time. It's a great outside toy which encourages imagination and he looks so cute in it. My Grandson is 3 and a half years old.Sturdy plastic fits well. Lights and siren give that extra boost to the fun of imagination.My son loves itOur son is fireman CRAZY and we were going bonkers with the jagged edges that the free plastic hats that the local firemen gave out. This was a quality product that makes his obsession a little more safe. I took one star off because I'm torn about the sound on the helmet. On one hand the siren is a nice addition. On the other, the siren is, well, loud and a siren and became annoying. Maybe there is a happy medium that the company can come up with? Or rotate the siren sound with phrases like "Watch out for that fire!".Lastly, the hook on the back is a nice touch as that's what the real firefighters have on theirs. Overall great product for great price.
