First off I will say I am very happy with these lights, once I get them on my bushes that is. I have used these 2 winters now in Illinois, where we get variable snow, ice, winds etc and they have held up fantastic. The first time I took them out of the box I was nervous because the wiring seems very flimsy compared to previous strands I had. I have 3 decent sized burning bushes I put them on and stretching and postioning made me nervous they would fray so I am extremely careful when placing these. Because the wiring is so thin they tangle easily and the second year was frustrating when trying to straighten them out to put them on so just be aware and I had tried to roll/fold carefully when removing from my bushes. Other than those things to be aware of I am very happy with the coloring and controls and I haven't needed to use the spare set I bought based on previous reviews.
