I have my desk in a closet but I don't want to permanently change the closet for re-sale purposes. Unfortunately I needed a lot more light. I bought these and wrapped them around the clothes hanging pole. Since I have a white pole, these blend in perfectly. The lights are just perfect for this purpose! Each bulb puts out just enough light that when you have them all together (or scrunched up in a closet like me!) they give off more than enough light to work by, but are not bright enough to hurt your eyes. They give off a nice soft yellow light - very peaceful and calming like a great desk lamp. Perfect size - not too big and not too small.Definitely wait to put the bulbs into the sockets until after the cord is hung and you have the sockets right where you want them.For me it was well worth the price to get a white cord. A green cord inside a house can take away from the ambiance the lights create.I ordered two sets for our screened porch, which was plenty to go around three sides near the ceiling. The lights provide plenty of light for entertaining. They were easy to set up and worked even with only part of the bulbs installed. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that the original shipment was missing the second string for the lights and had an untaped box of bulbs upside down in the outer package so that bulbs fell out when the box was lifted, causing breakage. However, Amazon customer service was great - they gave me a full refund for the second set so I ordered a replacement set which was perfect. Now I have extra bulbs in case some burn out. We love the look of the clear globes.I love these lights. They are a bit bigger than I anticipated, and wish I had purchased a smaller bulb, but overall, very well-made. I do love that the bulbs are screw-in, so if one goes out is so much easier to replace than the twinkle/mini lights. This gives you the ability to buy different color bulbs to switch out for different occasions. They came very well packed....each individual bulb was separated in cardboard container. The light they give off is soft and not too bright. Very happy with my purchase.I liked the order but it said on the item that the wire was white but wire came in greenThey’re pretty but delicate. Put them up carefully. Might want to put the cord up and put in bulbs afterward. Will need extra bulbs.These strands of lights are perfect, amazing! We have had them up on our outdoor patio for 4 years now and no issues. Buy replacement bulbs when you order so you have some on hand when a bulb breaks or goes out but - honestly, most of the bulbs that came with the strands are still going strong!!!The bulbs were a little brighter and bigger than I imagined - but my fault for not taking the measurements seriously. I am one of those that build things before reading the instructions all the way through...or the one who buys things before really measuring anything to see if it will appropriately fit. These definitely have that Edison feel...but are rather bright...just put bulbs in at every other and that fixed my problem.The lights look exactly how I wanted them to. The light is very warm toned, not a white light at all. They produce a warm glow, but might not be good if you're looking to actually bring a lot of light into wherever you're putting them. BE CAREFUL screwing the bulbs in as they are very thin and fragile.I was unimpressed with the way they were shipped as multiple bulbs were broken and there were no extras included.I was a bit dubious at first after reading a lot of reviews from various similar lights. Installation went fast. The bulbs are not as fragile as I had anticipated. I am delighted with the results so far. Great value.
