Steampunk Gas Mask for Men with LED Green Lights - Black Framed Costume Accessory for Halloween, Cosplay, and Themed Parties

I ordered this as a backup to a similar steampunk-style mask that I've been wearing during the Covids. Fits as expected and the lights work fine although, as others have noted, you have to unscrew the canister holders to turn them on and off. Be nice if you could do that without the disassembly, but it is what it is. I learned with my first one that the straps are iffy, so I immediately safety-pinned the loose ends down. And you have to be gentle because the part attaching the strap to the mask easily breaks (I was able to Gorilla Glue it back together though.They nicely added a fabric liner to the part that contacts your face, too, which makes it much more comfortable! I had to add some padding to the old one.But. . . . . .all of the holes were plugged with plastic! Can hardly breathe! The only air going in or out is around the sides. Definitely have to perform surgery on it to open those up.And it really has a strong plastic smell to it, which -- again, as I learned with my other one -- will diminish with time, but rubbing a bit of cologne/aftershave inside of it helps.So, I'd recommend it as far as a costume mask or 'Covid Couture' as someone else mentioned, but definitely fix the air hole problem.Exactly as pictured, works well. While trying it on the first time, the striped elastic band snapped with barely any stretching. There is a back-up band in the box but it's plain black & takes away from the overall appearance. I sent the seller a message and they shipped an entire replacement immediately!I bought this for a Halloween costume and it works great. The lights stay on for a convenient amount of time and the strap is easy to adjust though it snapped off after wearing and pulling on it so much. However, it was fixable with the extra strap that comes with the mask.3 stars since the strap broke and I had to reattach with fabric glue. But after fixing its a nice costume piece. I even painted it to go with a cosplay. Haven't seen how long the battery lasts, though.The cheapest POS ever!!!! The straps will not stay attached, the side covers with lights continously pop out and will not stay in. DONT BUY!!!! This product is NOT worth the price they ask for it.
