My daughter loved pulling these out of the box! The design is too adorable and the heart shaped lights are really the icing on the cake! About a year ago we bought her another pair of sketchers light up shoes. She recently started complaining that they are a little tight so we decided to only go up half a size. These seem to fit her pretty well. We went from a size 12 to a 12.5. The lights on these shoes seem to be much brighter, so something to keep in mind. There is an on/off switch for the lights, so that could be useful during school hours. We got about a year with her old shoes before the wear and tear started becoming really noticeable. So I expect the same from these.
