Wanted to change out one of my stairwell lighting with something more elegant and eye catching, and this one certainly does that and then so!! I am completely happy with the end results and the fit and finish of this chandelier light is nothing short of beautifully crafted! It is not without some faults, mainly with installation. First of all, the instructions weren't really for this particular light and the mounting bracket was not as it is shown in the instructions which is not too big of a deal as one could figure out how to properly mount this. Secondly, the included "bolts" for the mounting bracket is for a one way, nut installation, meaning that there is no screw type head on it and has only a few threads on them towards the end where you attach washers and then the nut! Basically useless for attaching to your ceiling and therefore I had to use some construction grade bolts/anchors that I have in my garage to attach to my ceiling and for what you pay for this, it's very upsetting that they don't include the proper elements for the right install!! Third, though doesn't mention anything in the instructions but one could figure it out, getting your desired length of individual lights is a bit of a challenge and would recommend 2 people for this (1 to be on the ends with the attached 'globes' measuring proper length, and the second person at the base adjusting the wires through the lock nuts). It's very cumbersome and tedious, but once you have the right length, it really looks amazing!I don't know if I received an updated, different model, but mine doesn't look like the other pictures in the ad or in reviews! Mine came with 3 additional LED lights on the base, which makes it brighter for sure and I think adds more of a nicer and well executed touch!! The included remote is awesome and works great for adjusting the brightness, "mood" scenes (temperature), and also has a Nightlight feature which dims the entire light system to basically a nightlight!!!Overall, this is one of the most striking and eye catching ceiling lights that you will find and so far, this is working beyond expectations! Would definitively recommend this for stairwell, living room, entryway or any lighting where you have the space and desire for optimal light!!Just be warned that this entire unit is HEAVY! Easily 50+ lbs with the attached globes on the ends, so if installing yourself, better have 2 or 3 people to help as you can't feasibly hold up while wiring and mounting up!
