Spyder 5002273 LED Tail Lights for 2006-2008 Dodge Charger - Black Smoke Style - Upgrade Your Car's Rear Lighting for Enhanced Visibility & Style

These made my charger look so much better from the back and they are super brightI purchased this taillight assembly for my 2006 dodge charger srt8. Shipping and the expected delivery date was perfect. As other posters stated; they were packed well and arrived without any flaws on the taillight assembly. Installing them was a snap however if you have the subwoofer assembly you will have to remove it to access the driver side taillight. After removing the stock assembly, I installed the custom assembly which lined up perfect. Make sure you remove the back up bulb from the old assembly and install it in the new assembly prior to mounting the new one. The old or stock wing nuts will work on the new assembly. NOW the bad news. After everything was mounted and lined up, I tightened the wing nuts down on the new assembly mounting screws. The screw backed out of the assembly which caused a slight problem. So I had to remove the entire assembly from the vehicle. Make sure you have some locktite for plastic handy. Remove all of the mounting assembly and apply the locktite in the screw holes. Replace the screws back into the assembly and let it set over night. After the screws are set; attempt to remount the assembly and you shouldn't have the problem I ran into. Or you can just return them to the shipper. Overall the taillight are beautiful and function properly. Hope this review help any future customers.Looks awesomeThese taillights are quality, they were very easy to install. No issues at all, they look awesome and it really sets the car off. I installed a new 3rd brake light that matches these also at the same time. With the black taillights and black 3rd brake light (and black headlights) it all definitely changes the whole look of your car quickly. I highly recommend these, between installing these and the 3rd brake light it took under 25 minutes. Definitely worth the moneyThese tail lights add just the look I was going for. At first I was a little worried about getting the smoked lenses as I thought they might be to dark, however, they look perfect on my silver steel charger and no lose of light. The fit was perfect and the LED's are brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs. Coupled with LED reverse lights I bought elsewhere and the look is simply stunning. They come with a built in resistor so no worries about hyper-flashing. The only downside is you loose the separate blinker and brake light function, the light flashes as one instead of the stock setup. That's the only reason it did not get 5 stars.In a nutshell, simply perfect.Put these on my '07 R/T and have been pleasantly impressed.Expected good:* Brighter brake lights than stock by a pretty wide margin.* "Snap" on when engaging brake or turn signal so it gets other drivers' attention.* Good build quality.Unexpected good:* I put high-output CANBUS LED backup lamps in the factory housings and while they were better than stock, they didn't perform as well as the lumen increase suggested. With these Spyder housings, the backup lamp is in a completely clear section of the housing and holy crap is it bright. Me are happy.So overall the lights are great I love them. They're easy to install except for one part. I've noticed that plenty of other reviews were talking about the screws coming out of the housing and this isn't something to just overlook. It happened to mine as well and caused my installation process to take a bit longer... When you tighten the screws from the inside of the trunk they detatch from the lights themselves as though they weren't factory tightened or whatever inside of the actual housing of the lights. This caused them not to fit tightly on the car. I had to take them back off and the screws simply came out of the housing with no problem.. and we then used a metal glue to seal them back into spot. It worked great after we glued them back into place; however, this should have not been an issue in the first place. Yes they work and look great but this is obviously not the first report of this exact thing happening. Try fixing the problem. It's been a problem since MAY 6TH 2012....Nice clean look on my Metallic Dodge Charger R/T with smoked front CCLFs and smoked Fog lights... for some reason bottom row of L.E.Ds are not coming on,.. I think its a dummy set... as I see I other pictures now lighting up either... after install my left front blinker started flicking fast, rear was not working at all.. shook wire in rear trunk and started working again.. I think the wiring is loose on this product but will try tomorrow after rain stops.sickGreat product
